Super Perigee Moon

Last night was a perigee full moon. While I wasn’t able to get a good moonrise horizon shot (for the illusion of a giant super-moon), I was still pretty pleased with this shot I did manage to take.

Settings: ISO 200, f/6.3, 1/160, 270mm.

Lens: Tamron 18-270mm. Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of chromatic aberration evident, especially on the lower edge. I could have done some color adjusting, but we all know it’s best to do as much in camera as possible. This just means I’ll need to upgrade my lens at some point. wink
