About Studio Gecko
Studio Gecko is the online domain of Los Angeles, California-based designer and photographer Cheryl Hasegawa. She has over 20 years of experience with web and graphic design, web integration, and photography, and has worked as a web integrator for an advertising agency, a developer for an internet service provider, a retoucher and editor for various photography clients, and a webmaster and graphic designer for a non-profit organization.
Cheryl’s love of photography started with a subscription to National Geographic when she was 10 years old. She was always struck by how a photo could tell a story in ways that words could not, and is consistently on the lookout for stories waiting to be told. Whether it’s people, places or things, nothing is off limits or too mundane. Her latest photography-related assignment involves editing for a photo agency in Redondo Beach.
Varied experience and combination of skills means she is uniquely qualified to offer clients custom design, production and photography solutions.
When not behind the lens or the computer, she can often be found at the beach, on a snowboard or on a rock.
